I am a trumpet player. Can I post scores if I play my trumpet into the microphone on the vocals in Rock Band?

KrimsunMunkeys is doing something like this with his trombone, and I believe he said that it is illegal to use an instrument because the trumpet isn't part of your body. (You should probably take his word for it, he's also a mod  )
