I seem to be the only one that isn't psyched about this pack?? Cmon, its Boston. Decent band but cmon. ;)
The drum charts look ok but 5 of these songs are horribly average songs overall. I'd rather have some real kickass rock/metal songs (no not death metal) than this melodic girly stuff. Boston is a chick band. _________________

when I saw "More than a feeling" listed it was a foregone conclusion I would buy this with out hesitation (I got the pack). Played the song first, 5 started it on the first time, totally awesome song. Also went to play it on drums and had a total blast. Should try Bass later on. |

Its called an opinion. I do know what I'm talking about, though. I've listened to a lot of the band's catalog for a long time (I'm not a teenager). They are good, but they just have always reminded me of girly music.
Boston is the kind of band that is good if you take all the instruments and the vocals and seperate them into different tracks. But put them all together and it just changes to ordinary-sounding late 70s rock.
Granted, I am not a big fan of 70s rock at all. _________________

Somebody said this in the misc. discussion thread too, so I'll just repeat myself:
DorkmasterFlek wrote: | MTAF is pretty similar to the GH1 chart, but that was a cover so minor differences are there. I prefer this chart only because it's the master. But POM is waaaaaaaaaay different. I assume you're referring to the GH3 chart. Every single song that is shared between the two games has had a better chart in RB in my experience, but this one especially. There are some things in the GH3 POM chart that are just retarded. The little 16th note G-R-Y run ups leading into the verses is a perfect example. GH3 charted this like you're playing two guitar parts at once, i.e. GR-R-RY 16ths. WTF? |
I love GH as much as the next guy, but some of the charting decisions in GH3 make me think that some of the people charting the songs have down syndrome. _________________

Qrash - Not to get technical, but your "opinion", didn't exactly sound like an opinion. And your opinion is obviously a little biased as you admit that you don't like 70s rock.
