why dont you guys just make a european account on your PS3? cuz i have both japanese and US accounts. all you do is make a new user and go from there. pm if you need help. the reason i made a jap. account is because they get things on the PSstore earlier than US does. so i can download demos and such and play them on both users.

It could go either way in my opinion, I can understand that they would want to give us Europeans some sort of compensation for having to wait such an absurd amount of time but then again I just cant see Harmonix letting some regions be without. Especially when the money guzzling EA is behind the wheel, they wouldn't let a DLC opportunity go to waste.

So you reckon we haven't been fucked over deliberately? Prove it. I refuse to believe there's a valid reason for such a ridiculous delay until someone official tells us otherwise, because it quite honestly seems like they're too busy being all happy with the NTSC market to bother with anyone else in the world.

I don't give a shit if it makes me sound like a spoiled child, because I guarantee there'd be a shitstorm if a game like this came out in Europe first and the US release was delayed endlessly without explanation, you'd all be whining like hell, talk of lawsuits and whatever the hell else. If you didn't get something to make up for it, there'd be hell to pay and you damn well know it.

If you want them included in the cost of the disc and have Americans have to pay for them as DLC, that's reasonable. But to ask that Americans don't even get the option to pay for them as DLC is ridiculous. That idea is nonsensical for the artists who want additional revenue from DLC, for Harmonix who gets additional revenue from DLC, and for consumers who want as large a library as possible to make purchases from.

Well, if we're talking 'good business sense', they should put the extra songs on the PAL disc and jack up the price accordingly (bearing in mind the bundle is likely to cost £150/$300 or more anyway), and then charge the NTSC region to download them.

What they'll probably do in practice is put them on the disc without jacking up the price and then give them to the NTSC region as a free download to avoid lawsuits from people complaining that we're getting better treatment and whatnot.

I'm trying to collect my thoughts into some kind of explanation of exactly what my problem is, I might post it here later if this topic doesn't end up getting canned.
