Thanks to the wonderful work of Ajanata, we have some DLC charts. Let's find the optiimal Bang a Gong path and prove once and for all that, as I believe, Gold Stars are impossible.
Here's what I've got: Sully - Bang A Gong Overdrive. The last activation *might* be able to move back a chord and still get that final YGB- testing needed. As always, assume my activations stars as a squeeze- spaces before activations are there for clarity.
My first place run missed maybe 600-800 points to slightly bad activations and I'm ~2k below the calculated GS cutoff, so we'd still need to find over 1k points after accounting for my bad activations. |

I'll contribute 200 points: shift the second activation to the beginning of measure 56. You'll gain 15 notes at the new activation point, sacrificing 13 at the end of the written second activation, for a 2 note gain. |
