Overdrive FAQ chart creation

Trying to find out how the note charts were made in the Overdrive FAQ sections.

I see a note on them that they were made using a program called "guitar hero explorer", and I've found a copy of it.

I've also gotten the ark files off my game disk, but I can't seem to find the steps involved to take the files in the arks and visually chart them.

I'm trying to develop a Band Overdrive optimization program, but I really can't seem to find the information I'm looking for to close the gap.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look at the bottom of the charts, they say something along the lines of 'created with guitar hero explorer v5.0.0' Now take a look at the version of Guitar Hero Explorer (ghex) that you have. See the difference?

Kata (creator of ghex) slapped that version together quickly to get the charts out specifically for that forum, he never released that version of ghex, and he likely isn't going to.

Long story short, the public version of ghex doesn't support Rock Band.

If you are trying to develop an optimization program (like debr did with GH); then you should post the questions you have. Someone will help out I'm sure.
