|
|
Since Harmonix decided to make rock band guitar notes worth 10 points instead of 50 it would be cool if some of the big guys at this website would be kind enough to make a score converter to compare stats with Guitar Hero songs. Now I've tried to multiply scores by 5 but if that was true, then I broke 500k on Say It Ain't So. I'm not so sure if this idea is that great but I thought it was important enough to post in this forum.

RB notes are worth 25 points, not 10... |

Why (and what) would you want to compare?
For songs that are in both games- charts are different, Star Power/Overdrive are different- you'd be comparing apples and burritos.
Just double your Rock Band scores for an approximate Guitar Hero score. |

The doubling doesn't work unless you path involves not running over any other OD phrases. If you could just double, then my GH score for Green Grass and High Tides would be over 800k. That's nowhere near right. _________________

Don't forget to remove solo bonus and BRE. _________________

How is it nowhere near right? The song has more notes than TTFAF. if it were in GH, 1 mil would be possible.
As Blob stated, Solo bonuses ad BREs would make doubling a little high, but my question is why the hell do you want to compare GH scores to RB scores? What's the point? There's obviously no simple way to do it- hell, there's probably not even a very complicated way to do it. If RB songs were in GH, note points would double, charts would be different, SP would be different- scores would not be consistent across the games. |

TTFAF has ~700 more notes.
But I do agree with the "why would you want to" thing. They're not the same game, charts, or engine. |
