I have been trying to get past this solo, and I just can't make it past the section 210-216(note chart). Its the part where you get 2 notes coming at you, 2 orange, 2 green, 2 blue, 2 green etc.. Any tricks to this?? Do I need to alt strum it?? Just can't get the timing down or something. |

Yes, you should definantly alt strum.
Hold down the green button throughout it and press the other colors with your other fingers. Im guessing you are talking about the part like this:
(except faster) |

If you use the solo buttons AND alt-strum it works best for me. |

I can alt-strum pretty well and have much experience with passages like this from GH. But I'm unable to keep a good combo in RB because of the strict timing window. Has anyone had any success utilizing the HOPO's? |

Alt strumming is the way to do this. its kind of like the part in maps with the double notes over and over and alot faster. atleast thats what helped me do it. at first this section kept failing me. now when i do it i dont even miss one. you just gotta get the feel for it. but definately alt strum. _________________
