This was my point. How would a pic prove it? I guess I could pull out my camera and make a video, but someone who can get to the list will verify it soon enough. |

What file did you find the second list of songs in? And is there potentially more lists to be found. This is pretty exciting. _________________

See top post, updated. It seems the list is possibly updated when they release a new song for download, since the list comes from the DLC. Now whether or not they remove this list since I found it... |

I don't understand the point of including these songs inside a file with the DLC. Obviously the song listings are not necessary to relate old songs to new ones, or you'd have to download all songs again with an updated list. I don't think the guys are Harmonix are very good at keeping secrets... _________________

Still Alive and Well is a song by Rick Derringer. Maybe it's that. _________________

I'm guessing it got accidentally compiled into spa.bin due to the list being in another file that has other data that was needed.
For instance a file that has all the words that would need to be translated to other languages. The "new" songs are there for future reference if/when they do get added (or for their test copies).

Rock 'n' Roll Star - Oasis?
Pretty generic song title so it could easily be somebody else, though Oasis seems to fit the repeat-offender mold.
Hysteria - Muse or Def Leppard?
Def Leppard seems more likely, seeing as Bang Camaro have pretty much knocked off their style entirely (I mean that in the best possible way). I could also see it being Muse though, as they seem like a band that both the developers and fans would be into. I'm leaning about 60/40 towards Def Leppard.
Through the Monsoon - Tokio Hotel?
Seems a bit obscure for DLC, but maybe I just don't keep up with this kind of music as much as others.
Still Alive - Nocturnal Rites, The Crash or Jonathan Coultan?
Probably Nocturnal Rites, as The Crash version seems a bit straightforward on the rest of the instruments and is pretty keyboard heavy. I've got my fingers crossed that Harmonix will throw together a gnarly version of the Portal song though.
D.O.A - Foo Fighters or The Haunted?
This is a pretty even split in my mind, since following the March thrash pack, both bands will already be in the game. I'm leaning more towards Foo Fighters since Harmonix has a pretty pronounced Dave Grohl fetish. I'm happy either way, seeing as I like both songs and for the first time in a while I can associate those 3 letters with anything video game related other than beach volleyball.
Everything else seems pretty self-explanatory. All of this is still complete speculation unfortunately, so it's possible that I'm foaming at the mouth over nothing. Wouldn't be the first time. |

Rock N' Roll Star by Oasis would be great. It's one of the ones I requested a while back. Nice to see some more from the Stones and the Foos too. |
