Gold stars in Rock Band just means that you got an 'exceptional score'.
It doesn't have to be a perfect 100%, but it's usually gotta be pretty close and you have to use your OD wisely. You can only get gold stars on Expert.
Hope this helps _________________

Gold stars (and stars in general, for that matter) are solely score based. To get gold stars, you need to get roughly 1.52 x 5* cutoff of a song. Depending on the amount of Overdrive in songs, some are easier than others.

I gold-starred Dani California with only 95% completion. So you do have to be well, but if you time your overdrive right, you don't have to FC it. |
