I would actually beg to differ on the note about drinking alcohol. For the sopranos and tenors amongst us, yes, avoid the booze while singing. For the altos, low baritones/basses, it's actually not a bad idea. It will substantially lower your voice if taken without the harmful additives (juice, coke, the like - try wine when doing this) My personal experience has had my voice go from low note of a G-F to a D (It was awesome.)

Basically, have a glass or two if you want to lower your voice to get some extra range down there, then start drinking water.

P.S don't do this for solo play if no one's there. No one likes an alcoholic. :p

Hey guys. Long time RB vocalist, short time lurker :P
I was just about to sit down and see if I could GS the Beatles: Rock Band when I realised I would probably need some help with OD paths. I've never bothered before with it, I was satisfied with just 100%. This topic is really helpful, but it seems to be missing a few things that are on the TBRB Vocal OD Path topic; things like EwBM, BBM, ES, AI... I have no idea what these mean. A little help? :S

Edit: Also, sorry if I missed a really obvious topic explaining these terms or something

http://wiki.scorehero.com/PathNotations

http://rockband.scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27978

these should help with what the notations are, the 2nd one there's a link to what an end squeeze (ES) is by IceMage, hope this all helps!

Best of luck.

I play vox occasionally and usually do pretty well. One thing I find that helps is to articulate as little as possible. I enjoy singing the words, but if you don't hum, try to mesh your words together. It works wonders.
