In all fairness, I'm going to feel really bad if I end up edging out Darin. He'll have put in a ton of hours on this one song... as for me, I played it twice, then ran through the entire expert tour in the last 2 days. Decided to graduate a little earlier than originally planned...
Methinks I should give it a few runs tomorrow, just to be safe.
Plus, anyone know if there's a difference between PS2 and other versions of the chart? I hate playing my PS2 version if I can avoid it. _________________

lol, dont fret too hard serges... marathon didnt happen as planned, due to my forgetting how much energy that song takes lol, PS2 version sucks cause in practice I can only do 70% on sections, or 100% (whole song only, no section selection), so it's either 70% on parts to practice, or just play it over and over. I can FC this on 70% easy, hell, even RttH is easy on 70%, but the energy it takes just to get to the rrrrG+O sections, I immediately forget how to drum (took a vid of a craptastic run lol) you can see me rock this song until that part and then I look like an idiot that cannot do anything with a drum stick lol. Few more runs just in case, and unless I can massively improve, I'll just anxiously await to see the Finals match.
(btw... this is not me giving up ;P just admitting I suck at this song lol) _________________

Well I played down to the wire tonight and got a pretty good score, but never had that 1 awesome run where I nailed everything I'm capable of hitting. A little disappointing, but I did demolish my old score.
I'm pretty sure you're moving on nivlac, unless you scored well under your previous best. _________________

I tried like hell, but I couldn't match my posted high score for this song. I decided to have a few last minute runs at 11:20 or so this evening and it proved to be worth an extra 2k. My score was 263,979.
How'd you guys do? _________________

Actually, Darin you bring up a good point. I don't think there's an official "consolation" match, but it could be done anyway for fun.
raunch: That's still a great score. Thank you & well played. _________________

Yea, I'll do consolation match if you want Darin. We'll take the final song and just post our scores in this thread when time runs out. _________________

Well, I'm game for a consolation match, course I just beat my previous high score on WGFA lol.. but guess now I will have some more drive to actually have a consistent run on it to improve some more and actually get the score I know I can get. Game on!!!
and btw.... until next league starts, anyone who hasnt already heard/signed up, there is a "One Man Band" league that will be going on (April 1st is the start date as of right now... early April for sure I'd imagine).

Yeah, I'll make it official, Darin.
Posted score was just under 265k. Don't remember it offhand, but I'll be facing nivlac in the finals.
Great song for it too, last I saw our top scores on WGFA were about 1k apart.
Best of luck Nivlac, I'll be heckling you via PM all week _________________

I wouldn't have it any other way.
I agree though, this is absolutely the best song for us to duel on. I was kinda hoping it would be WGFA because it's gonna be a hell of a match. I'm gonna guess our point spread to be less than 2,000 points when it's all said and done. I want that shiny gold drum kit trophy! This should be fun. Good luck to you, sir!

Good luck kids!
Can't wait to be a bottom-feeder in expert next season (i the top of this crop should all make the jump - they will most likely start sectioning off the expert league players into subcategories, so maybe we can still be competitive) _________________
