3/4/08 Week - Haven't heard of any of these songs or bands, but I'll have to see what the charts look like before buying them.
3/11/08 Week - Simple Man????? Woohooo! And also yet another awesome GH2 song coming to Rock Band....
3/18/08 Week - Consider this bought. Anything NIN = win.
3/25/08 Week - Wrathchild was my favorite song on the 80's GH...*tears*, Supernaut and Fuel is icing on that delicious Rock Band cake for me

and I lol'd at the first pack... I don't know how they're gonna pull off all the double bass pedal, but the blast beats are gonna wear me out...

Personally, I'm extremely excited about the classic rock pack week on 3/11, but I'm sure it will all be top notch. Rock Band DLC has had a tendency to turn me onto things I normally wouldn't listen to. The only one I'd rather not have is the Metallica song, cause I'm apparently the only person in the world who can still say they don't like to listen to Metallica. (...AJFA is okay once in a while, and Enter Sandman is a classic, but something about them just makes me not care.)
Hopefully this will get me to start in on NIN the same way that the Sabbath pack made me really start getting into Sabbath and Bowie and Rush.
My point is, DLC is good. _________________

Wow, I didn't know Black Sabbath could turn you onto Bowie. |

Looks like your the only one.
Thats a decently broad range of selections.
That leaves you Hanson, Britney and Furgie I believe. |

Yeah, poor choice of punctuation and words there. It's early and I don't have my coffee down yet. Give me a break :-P.
Another thought: March seems like a very "Heavy" sounding month, minus the second week. I wonder if they'll keep things balanced and have a "light" month in February, with a little more Classic Rock/Alternative/Crap that they play on the Radio today. _________________

I dunno which way you were going with this (it's your opinion either way, I'm just using this as a launch point for my post) but I hope you were refering to Fall Out Boy and such. Because honestly, I have been dying for some Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace , Shinedown, and Seether. If they tone this month down a bit and give me some of these guys I believe this 2 month span to be the most epic in my music listening life. _________________

Yeah pretty much this entire post ftw. Even that Wrathchild was my fav from GH 80's.
Only difference is I'll probably skip the whole first week (not a fan of those songs personally from the clips posted). |
