I'm satisfied over this month in content. I'm more happy with the latter packs, but either way this is how I feel.

First Week, meh...don't know those bands at all. I think it'll come down to overall difficulty and how they sound.

Second Week, I'm very pleased. MiaB is my favorite Police song, so that's a definate buy. I just hope the chart is a little different. Skynyrd is always good. I don't know much about Bad Company, but I don't think it really matters.

Third Week, ok a NIN pack does look pretty good. I liked The Hand That Feeds, so I'll definately be giving this one a try.

Fourth Week, probably the best week so far. I have no problem with more Metallica, Iron Maiden or Sabbath. To be honest though, the purchase of Wrathchild may come down to the cover. I liked Run to the Hills, but NotB was just so atrocious. But, Di'Anno is easier than Dickinson so I'll give it a shot. And it sounds much different, kind of like the Rush songs. (To me, Working Man is much different from Tom Sawyer/Limelight)

I'm pretty happy with this month...but I think it would be better for them to do it this month and not next. lol.

Meh, Shooting Star isn't the best song for RB... but as we all know, one contribution seems to lead to several. That's probably the best thing about the news of SS, although singing should be pretty interesting, Paul Rodgers is quite the vocalist.

Can't Get Enough, Holy Water (personal favorite), Rock and Roll Fantasy pack anyone?

Possibly the best reason to love Rock Band is the increasing likelihood that you're going to get what you want. I've been hoping for a Bad Company song for a while and, oh look, there it is.

Not a particular fan of NiN, but my brother will probably grab them and if the charts are fun enough I'll play along. The final listed week looks very interesting. Wrathchild should be fun to play, it was pretty good in 80's, while Sabbath and Metallica are always good.

Bad Company (The song) and Feel Like Makin' Love would both be fucking epic.

Hmm IIRC Bad Company as a song has fairly minimal guitar and drumming (I haven't heard it in a while unfortunately), although singing would be pretty damn epic.

Feel Like Makin' Love... now THAT is fucking epic. Methinks that's one everyone has heard at one point or another.

I guess you're right about Bad Company (song). But yes, that would be epic for vocals.

Feel Like Makin' Love would be epic for everybody, in this order:
Guitar (would be an easy, but REALLY fun solo to play)
Drums (The chorus would be really fun.)
Vocals (Chorus is epic. I'd fail the verses, because, in all likelihood, it's too low for my cocal range.)

My take would be...
March 4th: A singers worst nightmare.
Blinded by Fear - Meh, may be challenging, at least.
Thrasher - Nothing but strumming.....
Shadow World - Read above two

March 11th: Classic rock FTW!
Message in a Bottle - My least favorite of the 3, but will be really fun.
Shooting Star - Long, fun, catchy, all that rock band wants to be.
Simple Man - OMG, this is awesome! Lynyrd Skynyrd always=win.

March 18th: Nine Inch Nails, alright.
March of the Pigs - The singer should have a good time.
The Collector - Strange choice, but it should be enjoyable.
The Perfect Drug - Will be fun for all instruments.

March 25th: Classic metal, w00t
Fuel - My favorite due to master track, should be awesome to sing.
Supernaut - Singer may get bored, but the song is great for instruments.
Wrathchild - I think it will be great, the singing should be easier to cover.

thrash pack ftfw.

Im pretty excited about this--- but one question. How on earth is rock band going to register screaming?

At the Gates? I could sing this IRL (pretty damn close to the singer) but doing that, rock band is NOT going to register the vocals as even human. It wont pick up screaming in the talky parts or pitch for it when I've tried in other songs.

My concern is they're going to make you do screaming stuff "singy" ... and while screaming (correctly) is more "singing the scream" if I bust that out like the singer... it prolly wont pick it up. =\ hmmmm

Blinded By Fear'll be a blast. Thrasher sounds pretty cool too, if we can't have Slayer, this is pretty damn close.

My god i hope they don't release any more post justice metallica songs. Metallica turned into one big bag of suck after Justice. They are a joke.
