|
|
I want to pick up a GH2 guitar for use with this, so I can get a 4th person playing, but so far I've checked EB, Futureshop and Best Buy and none of them seem to have them, or if they do, it's packaged with the game.
I already have GH2 and GH3 for PS2 and I have 2 guitars for that, so I don't really want to buy the game again. Just the guitar.
I asked the guy at EB and he said they wouldn't have guitars until next month. I think he thought I was talking about separate RB guitars.
So do they even sell them seperately for 360? And about how much do they cost?
Also, would a GH3 guitar for the PC work? |

That's like, the price of a full game. Bah. I'm saving up for a modchip for my Wii and an Asian to install it for me. >_<
Maybe I'll make my band pay for it. |

Why would you want an explorer anyways. The only reason I could think of is because they don't sell the Les Paul's or Strats alone yet. I don't have 360 or RB so I don't know. _________________

actually the GH2 guitars are much better for hammer ons than the les paul. _________________

That is true..Plus the Les Paul usually breaks pretty quickly being a flaw in the controller _________________

Finally got an X-plorer a week ago after playing for two years with two SGs on my PS2 and the Fender on the 360 for about two weeks.
X-plorer OWNS the Fender. If only the X-plorer had solo buttons, there would be no use for the Fender.
I've never seen a Les Paul, let alone played it so I can't comment. |

Would you say that getting an Xplorer is worth it? I have difficulties doing the HOs in RB, but I can do them fine in GH2 and GH3 on my PS2, so I'm thinking it may just be the guitar.
Also, after playing for like, 5 hours straight, my hand really starts to hurt on the palm where my first to fingers meet my hand (like, the bone there rubs against the back of the guitar neck and hurts). =(
Also, does the Xplorer recognize up-strums differently than down-strums? I want to be able to get the bass FC achievement but my Fender's up-strum is broken. |

As long as you aren't experiencing joint pain, keep going. It's the only way to build up callouses. Of course, stop immediately if you do experience joint pain. |
