so far for Guitars theres only Les Paul(Guitar Hero 3 Guitars) and Stratocaster(Rock Band Guitar)

Examples would be Lefty Flip but holding Righty
or struming up or down or alternating

but for me i play the Les Paul Guitar with Righty but hold the Guitar Lefty and strum down for most songs(and alternate when i need to)

I'd just like to point out, there's several more if you have the PS2 version.

None of the above. I use the white "Gibson X-Plorer" that came with the xbox 360 GH2 bundle.

Righty. Down strum 95% of the time.

360 X-plorer, Righty, down strum unless impossible (ie: Creep, GGAHT Solo 2e, Highway Star, RTTH's Gallops, etc.)

EDIT: I got a Les Paul, I do better at every song except GGAHT, which I always fail at the part

Edit Part Deux: I can now beat every song. I probably would've never done it w/o the LP (especially Ride the Lightning...)

360 Strat (For 360 Rock Band)
PS2 Kramer (For PS2 Guitar Hero 1, 2, 80s, 3)
PS2 Red SG (For PS2 Guitar Hero 1, 2, 80s, 3)

Righty all the way.

I downstrum, and alt strum when needed..

However, I just sent back my strat, but before that, I was forced to upstrum, it hurt like hell.

I have both the Xplorer and the Strat, but I use the Xplorer far more often than not.

I alt-strum nearly all of the time.

les paul.
I usually play it by holding it in my hands and pressing the corresponding button while *also* strumming
