As if the 56 pages of posts elaborating on this point weren't proof enough; yes, people still use breakable pedals
I have broken one RB1 pedal and 4 Rock Band 2 pedals, all on different songs. I remember breaking one of the RB2 pedals on Tom Sawyer, and another on Panic Attack and another on Painkiller. I don't remember which one broke my RB1 pedal or the other pedal. But yeah....shit happens haha _________________

I have IONs and my brother had been adjusting the pads, but he didn't tighten them back enough, I guess. I play through a few songs with him on guitar on GD:RB. We pick Chump and I start to try to play the outro, when the kit starts tilting right and the whole right arm gives out, collapsing the whole kit. Luckily he paused as I lol'd hard.
The kit's okay, it's just kinda funny that it fully collapsed mid-song. |
LOL! That happened to me last month during Panic Attack, I managed to get my highest score to date on that run XD _________________

Luckily, my pedal is still intact, even after a year of hammering!
Yay for RB2 Stock Pedal having a metal cover! _________________

In the event of a code red, please do not orgasm over an accomplishment of an elite player. That is because the player is currently in the zone. You will run of out of jizz before he is finished.
Thank you for listening and please save all orgasms for the end of the ride. |

I think it was something really mundane like Livin' On A Prayer, of course by that point some of the higher tier songs had already done 90% of the damage.
I ended up having to tape the damn thing back together and reinforced it with spoon handles. Seems to be holding up well since then. |

I'm in the UK so no Destroyer for me. Thirty quid for P&P takes the piss. |
At first when you said "bloody" I thought you cut your foot on the pedal, then I saw you were british. _________________

When i still had a drumset I broke one of the rb2 pedals on young man blues and then the other one on perfect insanity after I hit the yellow roll and missed and well the pedal met the wall that day... so sad |

Went through about 14 pedals now... Thank God for warranties. Finally gave up and got a Rock Pedal.
Best record though, broke a RB1 pedal in 4 hours |

Lol -- that's over the course of the 3 years of drumming. And no, I'm just aggressive as hell |
