Desperate Times, Desperate Measures.
Kept getting pissed at missing fills so I was drumming harder. [fail] |

1. 29 Fingers (Please don't ask how the heck this happened.)
EA shipped me the new metal pedal design.
2. Orange Crush (Toward the end, with a full randoband.)
Fixed it with a piece of wood.
3. This Calling (Intro, duh!)
Fixed it with 2 pieces of wood.
4. Perfect Insanity (Intro, sightreading it.)
Fixed with a piece of wood, and a piece of metal.
It hasn't broken again, yet. _________________

Let's see....My RB1 pedal broke more and more over a period of about 2 weeks, My GHWT Pedal broke during Inside The Fire (2 feet on 1 pedal is not a good idea on a plastic pedal), My METAL $30 Best Buy pedal broke during Indestructible(2 feet on 1 pedal again, lol). My 1 inch thick plywood insures that my RB1 pedal won't break again....I also use 2 pedals instead of 2 feet on 1 pedal! XD |

My Rock Band 1 pedal finally broke on Sweetness(this is not sweet at all).
I bought my RB1 bundle used November 2008. It died today May 28th 2010.
I am surprised a USED RB1 stock pedal lasted this long. _________________

I broke a kick pedal earlier on Bad Omen. Nyko Metal Pedal, too bad the base is plastic. Pretty sure I can at least make this one usable again, though, because it's a pretty clean break. _________________

I broke over 9000 pedals, seriously.
But the only one i remember was my very first pedal from RB1. The stupid pedal broke from playing Highway Star in the BRE. I had gotten a little carried away. |

I didn't know you could predict the future. What's my next FC???
(sort of) On topic, I'm too nice to my new drum pedal to break it. _________________

I think my RB1 Stock pedal broke near the bottom on Next to You. That was fixed with a wooden block...but
it broke again on another song where the entire front end of the pedal snapped off!
We fixed this by putting and iron rod going over the top part of the pedal and putting a strip of some soft material over it so it wouldn't destroy my foot
I didn't get around to using it though because by then I had the RB2 Metal Pedal!
That lasted pretty long until it cracked UNDER the metal plate. WTF.
Now I just use my RB1 iron rod bass pedal. Works like a charm! |

I actually broke my whole kit the other day. lol.
I have IONs and my brother had been adjusting the pads, but he didn't tighten them back enough, I guess. I play through a few songs with him on guitar on GD:RB. We pick Chump and I start to try to play the outro, when the kit starts tilting right and the whole right arm gives out, collapsing the whole kit. Luckily he paused as I lol'd hard.
The kit's okay, it's just kinda funny that it fully collapsed mid-song. |
