Broke mine in Maps(X)... Can't remember where... I got to the end of the song though and thought it felt a little soft. Didn't break clean through, just some little cracks on the sides. |

I'm surprised more people haven't said Go With The Flow. That's when I first started seeing cracks (and reinforced my pedal). |

First break was during Celebrity Skin on Expert. Dug up some packing tape and that held for a few days, but then that quit during my first passing run of Epic on Expert. Dug up some duct tape and it's been dandy ever since, but I think I'd like to replace it with something cleaner (especially since I'm past the 60 days to call for a replacement now...) _________________

Out of curiosity, do you guys here all play the pedal with shoes on?
My office has a copy of Rock Band, and I notice that the drum peripherals are waaaaay more screwed up than our set at home, even though they are months newer. I was wondering if this is because at home, hubby and I are the only drummers and we play in socks, whereas at work, a larger group of larger people stomp away in shoes.
The pedal at work no longer springs up fast enough to hit double or triple bass hits. Imagine the fun that is playing Paranoid. |

I was at my friends house for a New Years Eve party playing Welcome Home. We all helped tape it back together! _________________

I've been using the pedal that came with the set since launch, and it looks perfectly straight still (no signs of it being on the way to breaking). I guess that's pretty unusual, huh? _________________

Won't Get Fooled Again
Right before the end of the jam too (where I usually do horribly)
I bet I will break the pedal again, though. |

I would've perferred it to break on a more hardcore song, like Blackened.

Can't Let Go, on one of the quick double hits, in the middle of the endless setlist. The friend whose apartment we were playing at didn't have really any supplies on hand to fix it. Our first attempt at a fix ended up using all of his tape and failed before we even unpaused the game. The break was a long diagonal stretching much of the length of the pedal (past the spring on the right side, and maybe two inches from the hinge on the left), which further complicated matters.
We ended up reinforcing it with pieces of the box from one of the pizzas we had just ordered, some long strips of plastic (the kind that are wrapped around large packages sometimes), and some staples. It was a miracle of ghetto engineering. |

I had already seen a couple of cracks in it, and knew it was only a matter of time. I already had contacted EA about getting a new one.
I had just started working my way through expert when about 75% of the way through Creep the thing collapsed and I said "...there it goes...*sigh*"
This was on Thursday and they still haven't even shipped the thing yet... |
