ugh. I was playing at my friends house, but my other friends hadn't showed up so we were playing quickplay with him and drums and me singing. (song was Dani California) and he started fucking STOMPING on the pedal and it flew off. Seriously. it FLEW off the bottom part across the room and we had t tape it together for it to work again. Then when we were doing band world tour and i was playing, the tape broke during In Bloom, so we re-taped it. Then we decided to finally try the hall of fame, hoping we wouldn't fail too many times. The tape held up fine for the first three songs, then it failed on Highway Star I think. Then again on Won't Get Fooled Again, luckily right before the long synth break. Then once again on Run To The Hills.

But the good news is we got inducted and got four full band gold stars that night.

as a side note, my band might start posting scores here, even though we suck

I really wanted to write up a semi-believable story about how I was playing 29 fingers and managed to break the bass pedal. Maybe work in a story about a mouse or a roach or something running underneath my chair, and me stomping at it.

But I'm not that clever, and lies make baby jesus cry.

I heard 2 distinct cracks while playing through Dani California. I'm pretty sure, however, it was weakend the night before when my neighbor, "Work Boots McDrunkerson" pounded his way through Enter Sandman.
