The lead single off of Nashville-based trio The Foxies 2022 debut album, Who Are You Now, Who Were You Then?, is a bouncy, energetic singalong an ideal summer jam, whatever the season. Their unique blend of genres results in songwriting mastery with Headsweat.

Julia Lauren Bullocks sensual, fun vocal delivery takes center-stage, while guitarist Jake Ohlbaums chiming chords and drummer Rob Bodleys pulsing rhythms propel the kinetic track throughout. The solid four-string fretwork on Headsweat is another standout element to pay close attention to (and attempt to play along with!).

Heavy guitars! Big drums! Emotionally charged vocals! The Wonder Years single that dropped in June of 2022, Oldest Daughter, covers a lot of sonic and sensory territory. Die-hards familiar with the bands 2013 classic, Madelyn, will be interested to discover that songs narrative continues nine years later with Oldest Daughter although, like its predecessor, the lyrical content is relatively bleak (runaway daughter/sister with certain issues and vices whos likely to have an unpleasant end). This is no maudlin sob-fest, though far from it. While lead singer Dan Soupy Campbells lyrics and passionate, pleading delivery may give you all the feels, layers of heavy guitars and bass coupled with huge, arena-ready drumming will have you raising your fists and singing along (when youre not wiping the tears from your eyes). Massive riffage and full-tilt energy throughout, Oldest Daughter is truly a gem and fun to play!

Since 2005, The Wonder Years have been releasing material that helped to define an entire scene. From the 2022 album The Hum Goes on Forever, single Oldest Daughter is amongst the groups strongest yet.
