The music of Red Hot Chili Peppers returns to Rock Band this week with the DLC release of Black Summer. Black Summer, the lead single from their new album Unlimited Love, struck an immediate chord with fans and radio programmers as the song quickly shot to #1 on the Billboard Alternative chart. Black Summer also signals the return of guitarist John Frusciante, who rejoined the group after 16 years. The song has funky melodies and rhythms in spades and Fleas energetic bass mixed with Anthony Kiedis vocals equals a home-run for Chili Pepper fans. Pay extra attention to the multiple solos and anthemic choruses featured throughout the song.
