The choice is yours with our latest Rock Band 4 releases, as Fleetwood Mac and Rush teach us about controlling our own destinies.

Returning from the Rock Band 2 soundtrack, Go Your Own Way is one of Fleetwood Macs biggest hits. The first single off the timeless Rumours, Go Your Own Way released ahead of the album and became such a success that the album broke pre-order records for Warner Bros. Placed on the Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll list, the song is an enduring classic. The unconventional drums make for an interesting chart, keeping the verses on a shifting tom pattern. One of rocks most iconic guitar solos plays near the end of the song, traveling all along the buttons with hammer-on strings.

Freewill (Vault Edition), a Rush icon, comes from the Rock Band VR soundtrack. The second single off the platinum-selling album Permanent Waves, Freewill (Vault Edition) is a classic radio staple, being one of Rushs most-played songs. Freewill (Vault Edition) is very difficult on every instrument in Rock Band 4. The bridge is where it really takes off, having a hard drum segment that leads into a bass solo which carries on under a guitar solo. Geddy Lee, not one to slouch, has said the ending of the song is the highest part of his octave range.

Available now on Xbox One and Playstation 4:

  • Freewill (Vault Edition) by Rush ($1.99/$1.99)

  • Go Your Own Way by Fleetwood Mac ($1.99/$1.99)

(Most tracks will be available in Europe on PlayStation 4 system approximately 3 days after listed date)
At time of post, Go Your Own Way could not be found in the XBL store. Apparently Freewill was not listed either, but someone provided me with a link to it.

** Dates for Rock Band game tracks are tentative and subject to change. **

Note: As of this post, above tracks marked with are available for the Xbox One and tracks marked with are available for PlayStation 4; these tracks are not compatible with Playstation 3, Xbox 360, or Nintendo Wii.
