Harmonix wrote: | This week, songs from The Cure, Cyndi Lauper, and Fine Young Cannibals will hit the Rock Band Music Library.
After appearing on the Rock Band 3 and Rock Band 4 discs, The Cure makes their Rock Band DLC debut with "Lovesong". "Lovesong", the Cures highest charting US single, allows players to channel their inner Goth with several challenging arrangements. The constantly moving bass helps push the song along while the vocals can be a bit tricky at times, giving players something to strive for. And of course, the well-known synth hook is playable, being featured on the guitar chart.
"Time After Time", Cyndi Laupers first #1 hit, joins the Rock Band library this week. Everyone knows the song, so the vocal duet will quickly be attempted by everyone in your band. The harmony is easy to find, so anyone can feel good belting out the chorus. The guitar is active throughout, even featuring a solo.
Rounding out the week, the Fine Young Cannibals hit "She Drives Me Crazy" reaches Rock Band. Having topped charts around the world, its guaranteed to be a party hit. The drum beat is unique, which helps make it the highlight of the song. If youre on vocals, youll be trying to match the distinctive melodies and pitch of FYC singer Roland Gift. |

Looks like some fun songs, I hope they add that The Promise song by When In Rome sometime in DLC, because Time After Time and The Promise were both in Napoleon Dynamite! Haha. _________________
