Just put up a guide over at my blog. It's not perfect due to the problems inherent in the RB4 kit, but it's passable for the time being.

Nice work. I hacked up my RB4 stock kit but just snipped the wires from the pads and spliced 1/4" cables to them and then plugged those jacks into the mesh pads on my TD-11 kit. I was reluctant to do anything with the cymbal ports because I have read that cymbals other than the RB ones will not work due to chips being in the cymbals themselves so I left those alone. I took my Roland cymbals off the posts and replaced them with the RB cymbals instead and stuck with the RB pedal just for now. The lag is unplayable still so I put the project off to the side and have been playing my full TD-11 with an MPA on the PS4 for now. Hopefully, more firmware updates will be released to truly deal with the lag so I can play all my previous content on XB1.

i'd be surprised if there was anything in the RB4 cymbals besides piezo sensors. It sure doesn't look like it to me.

Yeah surprised at the lag on the drums. Totally unnecessary.
