Rock Band Road Crew - Win Full Band RB4 Kit!

Surprised to see no one talking about this here; hope this side of the site isn't dead.

Basic premise; make a video talking about how awesome you are and how much you love Rock Band, Harmonix picks you to be part of the Road Crew, Harmonix sends you a full RB4 band kit for free and before it releases to the public.

Entries must be received by Sept. 18th and be sure to read the rules and FAQ as there are some easy requirements your video must meet to be eligible.

I'm almost done editing my submission, hope to see others from SH represent!

It was mentioned in the huge RB4 thread, but it's good to have the separate thread too.
I initially wasn't going to try this, but you know maybe if I show just how many scores I have on scorehero totalling over 5 billion points they might think that's outstanding.

been on this site & rock band forums for 6 years, 700+ fcs incl 25/6-4, thousands of hours poured into the game, hundreds of dlc songs. I feel fairly confident I could get in

I can't afford to, though. Ironically. I don't have an Xbone and I'm not really ready to make that purchase yet

I'm getting screwed by my friends either returning to university (undergrads or grad studies) or having their kids starts school, haha. No way to get a band together before the deadline.

I have a great idea for a video though so I'll definitely be applying if they do a second wave (without the bundle).

I applied last week.

I edited a quick video on my phone featuring some clips of me and my friends playing at various events or house parties, including the requisite "Impressive solo!" assist from SH'er Rickles. Making the video was a little awkward, but a fun experience. I hope I get picked! After I sent in my application I got an email with the following:

Threw a Rock Band get-together this past weekend specifically for this. Video's far from perfect but I like to think my love for Rock Band speaks for itself. Guess I'll find out!

I'm in the final stages of editing my video; it isn't bad for a dozen or so hours of work. Glad to hear of other SH members giving it a shot; I imagine being active here is already a big plus towards being picked.

I couldn't get my friends to come over, so I simply explained myself on camera, showed evidence they existed, and then edited together three of me playing the Colbert song. It doesn't look great, but I also spent maybe two hours working on it.

We'll see what happens I guess.

I turned in my application a few days ago. Fingers crossed! I think my video turned out pretty well, and I got good information across too. I'm not the highest-profile community member out there, but from Rock Band parties to DLC playthroughs to RBN authoring, I've been a constant and thorough supporter of the series since release day in 2007. So hopefully they see how much it means to me.
