Sometimes we find ourselves stumped by a specific vocal phrase. So, what do you think are the hardest individual vocal phrases? (Not counting glitched or broken phrases.) _________________

In the Meantime's verses where the singer goes low have always given me trouble. Same for Heavy Weather - The Storm ov the Undead.
Veil of Illumination Part 1 has one seemingly broken phrase in the 2nd verse ("Crown of the creation"...).
As for whole songs, I nominate Smash the Control Machine, Fat Kid, Shake, and Victor (ia). The big quartet of awful RBN vocal charting.
And maybe My Generation (Live at Leeds), Up From the Skies, Coming in From the Cold, Fire (by Ohio Players), Love Rollercoaster, Dozing Green, People Like You, and Henrietta.
If we were to include songs with broken phrases, there's Creepin' Up the Backstairs and perhaps worst of all, Manic Depression. The-B.O.D. may be able to shed a little more light here. |

It seems like it's always the first phrase that gets me the most, even when I've established my vocal range beforehand.
Rob the Prez-o-Dent has some annoying phrases, and so does Low Rider. The beginning of My Star causes me some problems too. |
