Harmonix has been saying for the past few years that they aren't working on RB4.
Assuming they started around the time they decided to get these three songs to us, it was probably a good 3-4 months ago. While their classic timetable for releasing content was about 5-6 months, I'd say that with 21 months of downtime and artists known to be willing to work with RB, and uncomplicated songs they probably didn't need quite the same amount of time.
Anyway, I'd say no more than 6 months at most. Although really, I'd bet they wouldn't even consider starting until they're done with this newest survey. _________________

Given how relatively quickly Dance Central: Spotlight came out in comparison to its E3 announcement, I imagine a big factor will be how much of RB3's engine they simply port over. Mind you, given the comments made in the FAQ regarding the lack of keys support for two of these songs, I'm definitely afraid to see what's going to be left on the cutting room floor.
In any case, I don't think a holiday release is out of the question. _________________

This thread says it's available for Wii. This thread lies. |

If I had to hazard a guess, I'd guess that the moderator posts about RB DLC are based on an existing format which is edited for the DLC at hand. Meaning that the Wii part is part of the formatted post and was just never removed for this specific instance. _________________

Annoyingly (but not necessarily surprisingly) SCEE haven't released the new DLC on the day they were supposed to.
Now, more than ever I feel nostalgic for times gone by. _________________

Now, more than ever I feel nostalgic for times gone by. | Just posted an hour ago by Harmonix:
"The newest Rock Band DLC from Arctic Monkeys, Avenged Sevenfold, and Foo Fighters will be slightly delayed on the PS3 outside the US. But all 3 tracks should now be available for purchase on the Xbox 360 worldwide and PS3 in the US! We'll post an updated PS3 release schedule when we hear back from Sony." _________________

SCEE really seem to have a problem with DLC for rhythm games. I mean, they're not perfect in other areas but this really stands out. I think that HMX might want to start releasing future DLC here first. At least then we might all get it at the same time. _________________

I've woken and emerged from my cryogenic frozen state, knowing this day would come. I sincerely hope that there's more to come. |

More DLC was announced today. Tenacious D's Rise of the Fenix and Back to the Shack by Weezer are out Feb. 17 for Xbox 360 and PS3. |
