I ordered Rock Band and Rock Band 2 again today. I'll get Rock Band 3 again some other time. The first two should arrive in a few days and I can then go about trying to get as many FC's as possible.
As always for me, I will begin my quest on hard mode.

Awesome to see you here. Hard mode sucks a lot though so you should be able to get a FGFC for RB3 pretty easily. Visions and Get Clean are pretty hard for RB2 though.

Thanks! I've only ordered RB1 and RB2 for now, but RB3 eventually. I remember Visions being quite a pain, but it's been years since I've played it and I've got better now (albeit not by much). I think there's no hyperspeed on RB1? If I'm correct, that'll make songs on there a pain.
I'm interested to see how many FC's I can get out of 58/84/82. I'd like to think I can get a decent amount on hard mode. I'd need to get used to the RB engine again though so I may struggle a bit at start. It's all fun... I need a good challenge.
Not got the games yet; but hopefully they arrive in the next couple of days and I can start playing them over the weekend!

If I had to guess I would say 58/82/82. Well at least thats what I would get. Visions is still a LOLNO on Hard and Get Clean's solo is just nuts, but possibly doable.
Good luck though, look forward to seeing what you can get.

Um, I'm not sure about 58/58... Green Grass and High Tides, for a start. I think I'll just do my best to get as many as I can and maybe I'll surprise myself.
Being at over 600 hard FC's (673 or something? Can't remember) out of 735 over the GH series surprised me. Especially getting GR2R and Decontrol FC's on GH1H, and Frankenstein actually.
I'll do my best... maybe I'll aim for 50/58 at first, 70/82 and 75/82 or something and work from there. Haven't played charts in a long, long time. I'll have fun playing it anyway.

I've been playing a lot of hard on RB1 lately, and there are some tricky charts (Ballroom Blitz has the hard chord changes in the strumming, a couple solos have had me playing songs a few times, and I haven't done the last tier yet).
I know if you can get almost 700 FCs on GH hard, then you can do better at RB hard, as it really is easier. It's fun stuff, and I wish you luck in your journey to get some hard FGFCs or at least some tough FCs.

So I watched videos of Visions and Get Clean last night. Hard solo in the second one O__o
One of the games arrived today but I dunno which one as I'm not home from work yet. I'll pop it in the Xbox tonight and get cracking on going through hard career
EDIT - it was Rock Band 2 that arrived... time to play!

Played some RB2 then tonight. I've now got 11 hard FC's. I was playing the "impossible" tier and I can FC some of those quite easily. Visions is lolno because it's way too hard for a "hard" song. Get Clean's solo is just stupid as well.
I've only entered 22 scores out of 84... so long way to go yet.

just to clearify i think you can get all the songs for rockband 2 even if takes lots of motivation to do it

Trying to 5* Visions on hard is annoying on my hand. I've given up for now. Stupidly difficult for a song on hard mode.

Well, 76/84 songs on RB2 now have a score on hard guitar. I pretty much suck at sightreads so I've only got 32 FC's. Of the 76 songs I have a score on, I can FC at least 70 of them. Eventually I'd like to think I can get up to 82/84 (which would leave Get Clean and Visions).
RB1 has arrived though, so once I finish off scores here I may go and put some scores in for that game instead of trying for FC's on RB2.
