American Idiot is easier than American Eulogy. I voted the other way before because American Idiot has the slightly tricky chord changes and is faster, but American Eulogy has that section in the middle that's all single-note changes that are all strummed, and that's worth noting.

As for the other pair, Geek Stink Breath is easier. Most of its parts are more technically demanding, but FOD is significantly faster, and that has to be taken into account.

I don't remember GSB having anything that FOD doesn't have, not to mention that whatever GSB and FOD do have, FOD's faster. Plus, the first 3/4ths (more or less) is harder than most everything I can think of in GSB.

I feel like if you can fc both songs American Idiot will be more annoying but I feel like Eulogy is actually long enough with enough small missable little part to make it harder than american idiot which is really just hitting the one riff...

Geek Stink Breath has the intro riff but the second half of F.O.D. is faster and tougher overall imo

American Idiot

American Eulogy has the tempo change in the middle that ruined a SRFC for me. American Idiot is more straightforward.

Geek Stink Breath

F.O.D.'s intro has chords more randomly and a faster tempo. Geek Stink Breath is a bit more patterned and predictable throughout.

American Idiot is easier to FC than Basket Case, hands down. Then again, I've always just been inexplicably terrible at Basket Case.

Geek Stink Breath is easier than Give Me Novacaine/She's a Rebel. I don't think that'll be a huge debate.

I guess the general consensus about American Idiot and mine are really different. Unsurprising.

Q5: Which is easier to FC, American Eulogy or Basket Case?

Q6: Which is easier to FC, Homecoming or Jesus of Suburbia?

First one is easily Basket Case for me. It's fast, but I don't find it that hard in being fast, which is what makes me thing personally it's the easiest of the triple.

Homecoming was an SRFC for me iirc. Not to say that it doesn't have any difficulty, but JoS is extremely varied, while Homecoming doesn't feel like it is. Plus, although Homecoming is a whopping 6 seconds longer, the last 2 minutes of Homecoming are, for all intensive purposes, empty while JoS has a very missable solo there.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I just can't get down Basket Case. Call me weird, but I think it's really tricky.

So American Eulogy is easier.

Homecoming is easier than Jesus of Suburbia; that pick isn't too tough.
