I'm mildly surprised about RHCP going away because we got Give It Away back in Blitz, but then again, I'm not the one doing the relicensing.

Take your pick:
* They wanted too much to relicense them, and most everyone that bought it has it now. Harmonix loses money just trying to keep the songs
* RHCP's label simply weren't interested in re-licensing the songs
* Activision re-upped their contract for GH:ChiliPeppers, blocking the re-licensing.
* FREE SPACE - BLAME POPE
Kinda funny they went through all that stuff to make BSSM complete in a Rock Band game and now the rest of BSSM is going away, lol. Better complete the Blitz challenge while you can!
Also, I just remembered.. now is the time to buy the Pro upgrades for any of these songs. Which I think is just Under the Bridge.
edit: Exporting Snow from TP2 may be impacted |

Man, the PAL version only only allows 1000 songs? Maybe that's to balance out the fact that it's autoplay.

Wii has the 1000 song limit. PS3 should have the 3000 limit.. |

| After a look through, this amazingly only potentially affects one goal in RB3 - the "Get at least 2 stars on all of Track Pack 2", which requires Snow to complete. |

Nah, no actual limit, just poor phrasing. What I meant is that I'm finally going to break the 1,000 song barrier, been teetering in the mid 900s for ages, and 1,000 is the limit where I realise that I may have spent too much money in my life on one game.
Well, thankfully not all at once.

Thankfully I already had all of BSSM before this (and Bang a Gong), but I had to buy Locksley. Crisis averted there.
Guess I'll have to do that TP2 challenge (or just play Snow once, either/or.)

| Only got Under the Bridge and Suck My Kiss when the album first dropped, so I guess it's finally time to go get the rest. And from what I'm hearing, Locksley isn't half bad either. |

Harmonix clarification FAQ

* DLC codes included with the Mad Catz manufactured Mustang bundles should still redeem "Under the Bridge" and the associated Pro upgrade as normal. So if you haven't redeemed your code, or if you track one of these bundles down at retail, the codes are expected to function normally.
* "Snow ((Hey OH))" will still be exportable from Rock Band Track Pack Vol 2. As mentioned in previous rounds of re licensing, disc based content operates differently from downloadable content.
Those are the most frequent questions that I've seen, but we can add future updates if anything else that requires broadcasting comes up before 9/30. |
