I read the RB Post and saw Extreme and thought Play With Me?! and then saw More Than Words. I was a bit disappointed until I saw the free pro upgrade. Tainted Love is awesome. The rest I might download if the chart is good. _________________

Don't get too excited about Love Hurts, as it's a re-record...and based off Hair of the Dog, it will be horrible. _________________

Love that More Than Words will be getting free pro-tar. I skipped Landslide ages ago because it only had two playable tracks, but with Pro thrown in this one is considerably more tempting.
Great selection of singles. Keep On Loving You, Tainted Love, Love Hurts...nice! _________________

Man, I had completely forgotten this week was Valentine's week. If I'd remembered that, I'd have been way more excited.
As it is, I'm happy with what we've got, although there's only one "must-have" song on there from my wishlist - Keep on Loving You, yet another Vice City song off the list. More Than Words is great too, it ticks another Rock of Ages song off and the free protar upgrade is an awesome bonus, but I was literally praying for Play With Me w/ protar when I saw 'Extreme' in the announcement title so a tad disappointing.
As for the others, I had never heard Glory of Love until about five minutes ago, but it's brilliant, right up my street in terms of '80s power ballads and better than any of the songs in the Chicago pack. Tainted Love is nice but not an insta-buy for me, maybe further down the line.
And as for Love Hurts...well, while I try to support Scottish bands in RB where I can, I wasn't a big fan of the original version of this song and if the re-record is anything like Hair of the Dog then I am staying far away from it.
2011 V-Day was fantastic, 2012 V-Day was really good, 2013 V-Day is in a distant third (if only because it's the first Valentine's pack to contain a song that is an instant no).
EDIT: I forgot that More Than Words is just vocals and guitar. I guess that's why the upgrade is free - Harmonix felt they couldn't charge for a song that has no pro bass part. _________________

I like 3 of the songs, and I listened to the More than Words to see if I recognized the song. Meh... Wait it's FREE. Okay I guess... _________________

Good V-Day pack. Not as good as the Heartbreakers Duet pack, but really, only maybe 1% of HMX DLC can hold a candle to that. It's an unrealistic standard. This week is at least as good as last year's Valentine's Pack, and that's fine by me.
Would've obviously preferred... just about anything else from Extreme, but it's an obvious choice (that fits thematically with the pack), and free protar, so you won't hear me complaining.
Tainted Love is definitely the highlight of the week for me, though. |

It was in the Billboard Top 10 for 43 weeks straight when it was released. It's a pretty damn famous song. |

[nods] There are also more people than I would expect who recognize it from its use in the Coneheads movie from the mid-'90s. (Which always seems a little strange to me, but I don't think I heard "Head Over Heels" until I saw Donnie Darko, so folks in glass houses and all that rot.) _________________
