We love Rock Band. You love Rock Band. So we're giving you a heartfelt post-holiday gift with the February 2008 issue of Official Xbox Magazine — 3 COMPLETELY EXCLUSIVE songs for the game!

Serious? You'd better believe it. The disc bundled with OXM's February 2008 issue contains 3 songs that you'll find ONLY on this disc:

  • Freezepop — "Sprøde"
  • Bang Camaro — "Rock Rebellion"
  • Count Zero — "Shake"

Since there are now several reports of people acquiring this magazine, I have added the songs for score-tracking.

Enjoy.

Can someone report how it works? I'd like to play those songs but I don't think they'll release those songs in europe...

can someone buy me a copy? I would pay the price of the magazine + shipping, that would be really cool if someone could do that, I offer 3 requests for gh or one request for rock band custom songs or money

I dont have the magazine yet, but apparently you can save the songs from the disc to the hard drive.
After that, you wont need the disc anymore.
Its probably done by loading the disc in the 360 where there will be an option to save them.

Its kind of weird how that Freezepop song was in Amplitude.
Though it was called SuperSpr0de on there.

Is it the same version? Or a "rock" remake?

no its a toned down (IMO) version of Super Sprode, I think I would've rathered Super Sprode =P or Scientific Genius Girl (Frequency).

Unfortunately I think all 3 songs are very pass-up-able

As for the songs, yes pop the disk in, install the tracks to your HDD and you do not need the disk again ^_^

Found it at the store yesterday

That's stupid. I thought Harmonix had more integrity than to make console exclusives. But anything is better than Activision/Neversoft demanding payment for a patch another company made...GAH!

lol who cares? the songs suck anyway (exept for Camaro). It's not like they made an ACDC or Iron Maiden MASTER Consol Exclusive.
