Blood everywhere, Rich. I don't disappoint. I went pretty much all-out this week and am pretty pleased with the score I have in now. I wouldn't go as far as to say "shocked," but I would be very surprised if it isn't enough to put me through. We shall see in a few hours, I suppose.
Bling, provided I make it, is there any chance at all the semifinals could be extended to Wednesday? I'm going to be very busy during those three days and will be out all day on Tuesday... I will have a window of time to submit a score on Monday otherwise, but I just thought I would ask. Seems more logical to give more time during the week, anyway, then have the final be Thursday-Saturday when people will have more time due to the weekend and/or Christmas break.

Wow, that was a fast elimination... I'm not too surprised though. I started playing the song on Thursday, already ranting about how you have to get lucky with these runaway notes for a good score. You really have to get three after the solo for your score to be good, which is already the case in like every tenth run. Later on, I figured that getting 5 runaway notes before the solo was also possible with a lot of luck, but I decided to go for a better score on Saturday because of more free time etc.
And guess what happens: On Friday evening, I seriously managed to sprain my left fore- and middle finger during American football training, ending up with the inability to play Blitz as I used to, and I didn't really had the volition to learn another control method in one day.
So I stayed with my 270k, hoping that It'll be enough but already having a bad feeling because Hobo is a really good player, and I ended up right. Congratulations Hobo, hope you get even farer in the leagues, so pinball the hell out of whichever song was chosen

Oh wow, that really sucks, omi. I actually ended with 273k, I score I frantically got on Saturday afternoon, I had to play it for a pretty long amount of time, which is one of the problems with these awful runaway notes. But yeah, I'm sorry that something like that happened to you and took your chances of winning away 
And ugh, Moves Like Jagger. Just the thought of playing that song makes me want to hurl. |

It wasn't you but that fat offense-liner who actually took it away, hehe 
So it's Hobo vs. Mircosoft and Ketchupyoshi vs. MasterNobody(?) in the semi-finals...
That's... hard to judge actually 
Especially with pinball chosen. Everything could happen here to be honest.
I still say that pinball is too much luck-based and for the next Blitz leagues I'm actually in favor of a league without the purple-note powerup. Even if it is included in the game mechanics, a league shouldn't be based on luck to such an extend as it is the case with these powerups imo

It was the old fantasy football screwjob, you had the second best score in the round and lost to the guy with the best.
