I'm actually an occult magician, check this shit out, it's pretty sweet.
It's pretty funny how well I did on the strategy-based songs compared compared to the reflex/lane-switching based songs. I tried way too hard on those two songs; I have 43 "plays" on Raise Your Glass now and 37 on One Week. I also had a bazillion re-starts on Give It Away so judging by that and my coin loss I'd say I did about 200 runs between the four songs. I'm going to need to save my energy/interest (and coins...) for the rest of the season. Props to Magnet on winning week 1, his Pinball score was downright scary.
This week should be interesting, I've always thought I was pretty good with Sync so I guess it's time to test that out. |
damn..if I didn't have a college burden with assignments and exams coming up in a few weeks I would have tried those songs with the powerups. I already have around that many plays on all the setlist songs anyways.
I think I have 60 on One Week and 58 on Diamond Eyes  ..and 50 on I'm Still Standing..the leagues would have bumped up those play counts tremendously.
I hope there is a league for the imports, like Rock Band 1 and Rock Band 2.

Round 3 is set up and the songs will be visible at midnight.
I likely won't be home right at midnight because I'm seeing a concert out of town. Score verification might take place tonight, or tomorrow morning.

Cult of Personality's and Sing's powerup combos are really funny. They're essentially useless.

Bling, if you could just let me know you did recieve my scores that would be great... Between my camera, and my computer, all my technology has been going to shit this week so knowing they went through would be a big relief, thanks.

Either I don't get this or my 469k are quite good
This week's power ups could be a lot of fun, finally a week without that risky jackpot thing so yeah. Still afraid of the possibility of pinball and jackpot being on the same song, that'd be disastrous

I'm actually surprised my Pumped Up Kicks score was first. I fucked up a couple of times and thought for sure it'd probably place fifth.
How someone got over 400k on We Are Young though, I will never know.

I got over 500k on it using Road Rage/Pinball, so Im sure it possible to get that with the league combo

Wow, really? I actually thought my run would be almost perfect and I'm 4k behind you...
Also, lol at Mircosoft being only 24 points away from second place. That has to be infuriating

It's all about pinball luck I guess. From a certain speed of the pinball on you can't call it skill if you manage to hit it one or two more times...
On a side note: It's funny how most of the scores on the leaderboards are equal to the players' corresponding scores on the Xbox Live Leaderboards, seems like most of the league participants haven't really played the on-disc songs at all

It was a fluke run, I'm just as surprised as anyone else. Managed to keep it running throughout most of the middle of the song and surprisingly, for once, Road Rage managed to hit everything else I needed. |
