The main thing that would be is a Keys/Bass/Guitar/Drums band score versus the normal Vocals/Bass/Guitar/Drums score, since vocals aren't scored in AIM. They would need their own section if there isn't one already but the idea isn't unreasonable, other than the fact that AIM is local only and therefore low use.

The real question is: how many people actively have four people in one place regularly to make this tracking worthwhile?

This is why there isn't currently tracking, no demand.

I don't think the amount of work required for JC to implement that would be worth the one person submitting scores

Not to mention that it's only really necessary for a small fraction of the Rock Band library, and even excludes on-disc RB3 songs.

So I stumbled on this thread a couple days ago and wondered how we couldn't have AIM scoring with the GH5-style band leaderboards. As it turns out, we totally do have scoretracking for AIM, just no one has used it yet. I uploaded a score for Dreamchaser AIM too, so it does work for RBN and for instrumentals too.

I'm really surprised no one else who saw this thread bothered to check if it actually worked or not... lol
