I am working with the v51+ of the ziggy editor and I am putting together some of the more pedestrian pro tracks for those of us who cant play Metallica and don't listen to much Nu-metal. (i.e. beginner pro tracks)

All tracks will have BOTH Guitar and Bass tracks, with medium guitar on some being "manually reduced", not just strings removed via auto-difficulty generation. (e.g.. bar chords reduced to power chords).

PRO tracking spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AndG6ewEv_5zdEJGMXBjWGdiSE9NYlJhU215Q0tHLUE#gid=0

'Completed' and posted: (* denotes inclusion in RBHP)

Well I'm glad someone is working on some of the easier songs. Looking forward to your releases.

I can find plenty of charts that show how you to play the bridge and solo of this song, but they are all the equivalent of Medium. I see not tab out there in the interwebs that documents the actual detailed solo.

Can anyone help?

Primitives and Smithereens were helpful. Thanks. The Duran Duran has the same issues: No explicit guitar solo charted.

I don't even have the motivation to play my own upgrades lately, besides just for testing. But I think interest will grow when Rocksmith customs (currently in progress) are doable.

So I learned something really cool about charting. By taking advantage of the "helper notes" I can indicate to the player if the note is a full downstrum or a partial upstrum. I tried to make use of this on this chart and it turns out pretty good. I am now confused as to why Harmonix did not utilize this method.

The "strum area" (up, down or center) marker is known about, otherwise I'm not sure what you mean.

I am suggesting that even when something is a A barre, you dont always strum 6 strings, especially on up strums. So you can make some of the strings optional on the up strums.

The strum area marker I am describing will allow you to indicate that the three top-most (closest to player's face) strings don't have to be strummed in order to award the player with hitting the chord. The same can be done for the three bottom-most strings, or the top-most and bottom-most string.
