No, I think someone else in the thread earlier was talking about using it.

I tried it for three songs and got a cramp, so Freakish is where I'm staying.

Nope, running default all the way here.

Not that I've tried the other schemes (but I did have a look and they all seemed really awkward to me) but I've stuck with default since song one. While I was stupid and was using left on the D-Pad to begin with (don't know why, it was a dumb idea in retrospect), it just feels right using down and A to hit the notes, and switching lanes with the shoulder buttons. I think at this point having played almost 400 songs or whatever I'm up to now, its probably too late to change it for myself heh.

Wow, clearly I am truly a Freakish player, even considering the other players who use freakish.

I use the triggers predominantly, using the shoulder button only when I need to repeat a note rapidly for quite a few beats, alternating with the trigger (middle finger on trigger, pointer on button) and I use the joystick to switch tracks, since I feel the 360 D-pad feels sloppy. While I feel like a weirdo now, I can't argue with the scores I'm getting...

Also, in the long run, I would love to build a Pop'N'Music-styled controller for this, with two buttons for each lane, lane switching buttons on the outer sides, and the overdrive powerup button between the lanes buttons. A shame arcade quality Pop'N buttons are $10 each from Germany. I'm not sure this is worth a $70 project, minimum.

I love it. Been GSing a ton of songs lately using it. I'm on the PS3 though.
