Quote:
On July 17th, Harmonix continues to diversify its catalog of playable music for Rock Band 3 and the upcoming Rock Band Blitz with three new singles: “Love Shack” by The B-52’s, Staind’s “Not Again,” and indie rockers Young the Giant’s “My Body.”

“Love Shack” comes from The B-52’s 1989 record Cosmic Thing, and was the band’s biggest hit, the first to reach the Billboard Top 40 charts. Staind’s “Not Again,” from the band’s self-titled seventh album, topped the mainstream rock charts for weeks when it was released in 2011. Finally, Young the Giant makes their debut in Rock Band with “My Body,” a single from their 2010 self-titled debut record!

The B-52’s – “Love Shack” O X
Staind – “Not Again”
Young The Giant – “My Body” O
These tracks will be available in Europe on PlayStation 3 on July18th.

These tracks will be available for $1.99 each on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and $2.00 on Wii. Tracks marked with “O” feature support for keyboards; tracks marked with “X” will offer Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for $0.99 per song. For more information about Pro Guitar and Pro Bass upgrades, visit our support section. Rock Band 3 Pro Mode requires Rock Band Pro-compatible instrument controllers.

Damn it, you two minute ninja. My copy-pasting skills aren't up to par.

Incredibly excited for Young the Giant and Love Shack should be fun as well. Passing on Staind. Preview chart didn't look fun, no keys, no pro guitar.

Love Shack is a day 1 purchase. Need to listen to the other two. First week I've been excited about anything on Friday in a few months.

Despite being entirely predicted, Love Shack will be the first DLC I've bought in months. Huzzah!

Oh WOW! I love Young the Giant, My Body will be a catchy/fun song to play and I'm so happy to see them in Rock Band! I saw them live last year and it was a good time. Nice surprise this week!

Love Shack is welcome as well.

Love Shack is an obvious insta-buy. Not interested in Staind unless they've drastically changed their sound since I last heard them. Never heard of the other one.

For those who haven't heard of YTG: Definitely give My Body a listen for the DLC, and if you still need convincing, listen to Cough Syrup. They get played pretty frequently (i.e. I'll hear them once a day at least) where I live.

Aside from no being for me this week, surprised to see another singles assortment. I predicted a 2- or 3- song pack and the B-52s single, but not this.

Now I have next week to look forward to in getting my hopes crushed by Harmonix that the Blitz songs won't be for Wii.
