Finally getting Mudvayne, but totally would have preferred "Death Blooms" or "Trapped in the Wake of a Dream." _________________

Three artists that I recognize; three song titles that I do not! But sure, whatever, this works. Also always happy to see new artists make their way into the DLC fold. _________________

Hey Harmonix:
JUST GIVE ME MY B-52S ALREADY!
kthnxbai.
I'm very indifferent about the songs actually released this week though. Either way, this 3 songs from 3 bands approach lately has been a bit more interesting. _________________

Wasn't Happy? the song that played in the Saw 2 (or 3) credits? I'm pretty sure it was.
Regardless, Lost and Found was Mudvayne's last decent album, so I'm pleased to see something from it make it's way here. I think a lot of fans would rather have more prolific singles like Dig or World So Cold, but hey, I'm sure they'll take what they can get.
Not a fan of the other bands, so there's that. _________________

[opinion]Another terrible week, Rise Against (which I am indifferent on) notwithstanding. As much as I hate to admit it, Move Along was a fun song. But every other AAR song that has made it to Rock Band is not only awful, but boring to play. I don't see this being any different, and I simply do not like Mudvayne.[/opinion] _________________

Okay, that Mudvayne song was the surprise of the week for me - seriously fun on drums. It reminded me of In The End, in that it was perfect for double-bass players for whom 2x Bass Pedal versions are still way too fast. _________________

Really enjoyed Satellite, especially on singing. Almost got 100% but the damn quiet part ruined it for me. Those low parts just never register. Looking at the other charts, it seems like the other 2 songs had it worse. |
