I hate Owl City, but I'll consider the other two. |

Agreed that I'd like more from QOTSA (they are my favorite band), but I'll take it. Like others have said, In My Head is far from my most wanted song by them, but it should be a decent choices as far as including keys and harmonies. Also, it's the first QOTSA song I ever heard, and the song that made me like the band, so there's all sorts of nostalgia with it for me.
Other two songs are decent. The Adventure should be about as "alright" as I felt towards the other A&A song, and Fireflies should be a great keys track. |

Saw the news on another gaming site and decided to pop in.
I'm so ecstatic that The Adventure is finally DLC. I remember seeing it in the DLC rumor thread, or whatever you'd want to call it, at least two years ago I think. Now it's here at long last. I haven't picked up a song since Take On Me, but I'm definitely buying this as well as Fireflies.
EDIT: I see my avatar still has an xmas hat.. _________________

Well, they also hyped up the B-52's track and we all know by now that it's going to be Love Shack. |
That would be great news because I could dodge the bullet of having it come on a disc or as part of Blitz. _________________

Not a fan, I take it?
To me it's one of those guilty pleasures, plus a reason to get Roam, too. That's how I tend to do DLC. _________________

Not bad this week. I know "The Adventure" and "Fireflies", but not "In My Head". I've never been a big fan of Angels & Airwaves or Owl City. The songs are fun to play on GH/RB, but I've never been a fan of the music. I actually do enjoy listening to Queens of The Stone Age, I've just never heard "In My Head". |

I don't get the hate for Fireflies. The keys in that song are great, and the song itself is harmless fluff, but it sounds good.
Pretty cool week overall. _________________

It's a soulless piece of garbage and represents everything wrong with popular music? IMO _________________

Never been much of a QOTSA fan, but will pick up the two GH repeats. Reminds me of how many good songs Band Hero had.
Also the one QOTSA makes me sad because it means we'll probably only get one Daughtry song too. _________________

Michael Bay films are vapid and empty, but enjoyable for most people.
This sort of hating-on-stuff-because-it's-popular is a hair's breadth from being excessively hipster.
Why can't people just enjoy what they like and leave well enough alone? I don't bag on Pantera even though I find their music unappealing and noisy; it's obvious that many people like their music and they are entitled to their opinion.
Besides, I can think of many, many other examples of music which are doing a lot more damage to the public's taste in music than Owl City. _________________

There's no deep, intense antagonistic hatred for music like Firefiles because of the type of music it is. I'm just not a fan of the song. Plain and simple. I've tried to like it, and I've not been a fan. It's like I don't like the heavy majority of the A7X songs on the game. Bat Country, Beast and the Harlot and Almost Easy are the only songs I like, stuff like Afterlife (which I unfortunately own due to Track Pack 2) are just songs I dislike. _________________

Gotta try Fireflies on keys. These past 2 weeks getting me downloads totally makes up for the complete lack of interest in last month's offerings. |
