This is an incredible pack. Can't believe we got all these on top on Rime AND a song in Blitz!
Been waiting patiently for 3 years, and so so happy to finally get some more. I was hoping for a tour tie-in, and was disappointed we didn't get one earlier this year when En Vivo was released.
To super, super nitpick. I would have wanted Caught Somewhere in Time over Seventh Son. Never been too keen on Seventh Son. but I guess this was based upon the tour, which really doesn't feature SiT. We really need another SiT song. It's criminally under-represented, and the DLC selections are already pretty Seventh Son heavy.
Infinite Dreams is an amazing sleeper pick. Love that song.
I want Caught Somewhere in Time sooo bad for that amazing solo section. It's easily my fav solo of theirs. I'm praying it'll be the Blitz song. It's super fast and thumping, and doesn't have any gore/war stuff in it, so it seems like it could be a good choice for a more accessible general-audience game. The song length itself probably works against it, though.
If I had to put money down, I'd guess Wratchchild, but I'd much prefer a bigger bang-for-buck song and a Bruce song. For an arcade game it'll probably be a shorter, fast-paced song like Rainmaker (would be great), Wildest Dreams, or Different World, maybe Deja Vu.
Ideally though, we'd finally get another song from SiT. |

And now, to bring up an annoying fact that will probably annoy many of you as much as it annoys me.
Rime of the Ancient Mariner will not sort with 2 Minutes to Midnight and Powerslave. The Prisoner will not sort with Number of the Beast (OV) and Run to the Hills (OV). Seventh Son of a Seventh Son and Infinite Dreams will not sort with The Clairvoyant and Can I Play With Madness.
Why?
All of the previously released songs all organize under "Flight 666: Rock Band Edition"

I really don't understand why people are so negative about the possibility of getting more Maiden. If we're getting the old stuff, that means the the band/label is on board without even pressuring HMX to release tie-ins to more recent albums, and I wouldn't mind seeing a mixed 80's, 90's, and recent stuff pack, with, say Wicker Man and Eldorado.

Totally. It just might take a while. We just need everyone to buy this pack, so they see demand is still there. |

Well with El Dorado, we also need to pray that it comes out after a Big Rock Intro feature because it'd be another Magic Bus or KITN buildup. >__>

I guess it can be annoying to see stuff like the HIM songs labeled as to be by different bands. I completely understand the huge OCD.

I'm happy people are happy, but Maiden isn't really my favorite. I'll still give it a listen.
Either way, maybe this'll spark the community a bit. Maybe a Weezer 12 pack next week for me!

Nope, we should've had support for mulitple BRE's before now as it would've saved the last few seconds of Child In Time from getting cut off.

Are people negative about it? I mostly see people really excited about it but just wishlisting on top of their excitement. In general, the general sentiment I'm getting from this thread is "more Maiden is great and this is a good pack, I wasn't sure if we'd get more after three years, but I really want [Song] too." That doesn't seem to negative to me at all. |

The official rock band forums have a surprising amount of negativity because they are tired of getting large packs from repeat bands. Or something like that.
