EDIT: Goddammit, Korn is NOT metal. Fuck you, Henry.

Nu-Metal = Metal. Cut the superiority thing.

Be glad at least we aren't getting dubstep Korn.

Anyway, I don't like Korn, but holy shieto Frankenstein. Instapurchase.

Oddly enough, I would've had some fun with "Get Up."

This is one of the better singles weeks I can recall having in awhile. Every song is awesome for sure, although the Edgar Winter ones are particularly awesome. Frankenstein is a LONG time coming! Free Ride was also fun in GHWOR. Freak on a Leash I'll probably get too. Falling Away I gotta wait for the charts on. But Winter alone makes this week a win!

On the one hand, that's a perfect Halloween 2012 DLC song wasted. On the other hand, it's fucking Frankenstein. I'm kinda' torn. Torn in a "I'm going to fucking buy it and it is awesome" kind of way. So, not at all.

KoRn is also good. Don't know the second song (Well, I didn't really look at it), but Freak on a Leash is great. I remember the bassline on GH:WT, as well as my inability to FC it. (I just don't know why. It's like on GH5 how I can get Runnin' Like a Dream easily, but just can't get Send a Little Love Token.)

Anyway, 3/4 is amazing, admittedly I don't care for the other KoRn song, but most importantly...2112 arrives on the EU PSN this week! The Way it Ends and 2112! Sweet, glorious music. Fantastic DLC week for me.

Nice Week. I had a feeling that if we ever got Limp Bizkit then we would get Korn and vice versa

Ill get all 4 and be quite happy about it. As Korn were massive when i was in highschool these are great nostalga songs for me (They should of had Got the Life as well).

I am wondering how fun Franky will be on Guitar though. I assume most of the GH1 chart was Keys but was there Guitar thrown in with that as well. I have a feeling many people are going to be dissapointed with the resulting chart.

Still though, please keep giving us those GH1 songs HMX (as in Hey You!!!)

Mostly sad that it's only two Korn singles. I would have enjoyed Make Me Bad and Twisted Transistor.

Still, an enjoyable week all round.

Interested to see the BRE and trill-lane usage in Frankenstein. If the BRE goes where I think it will, drums are gonna have one hell of an FC on their hands. I'm probably picking everything up this week considering my younger self would protest if I didn't buy the Korn songs. I do wish one of these two bands got a pack, though... kinda sucks to have 4 singles to buy.

Frankenstein is good...As is Free Ride.
Korn I don't care for really, never got into it.

Heh! KoRn and Limp Bizkit occupy the same fantastically broad region in my mind's eye - "nu-metalish commercial rock from the same general set of years" - although I am maybe 85% less ashamed of listening to KoRn, at least in part because they were much less whiny and had redeemably cool bass lines. Pretty sure "Got the Life" made it onto some playlist I recently assembled. (I will also award KoRn some bonus points for being willing to poke fun at themselves in their very own South Park episode.)

Anyhow: enthused for all four tracks! Love it when we have weeks that go for songs in totally orthogonal directions; better still when I can appreciate those directions in their radically different ways. Looking forward to playing all of 'em!

We finally get Frankenstein! This song was meant to be, with the RB3 keyboard, and I was surprised that it wasn't an on-disk song. Thankfully we are getting it now.
