I for one hate hate HATE that type of metal. The RBN metal that we have blows in my opinion. I think the Whitechapel and Black Dalhia Murder songs are the only ones I like and its cause the charts are fun. I grew up in late 90's when they were just starting and I love them. Give us a 30 pack and I would be all over it.

After listening to the two pro guitar songs, Wait and Bleed seems very repetitive and boring for pro guitar. Not to mention it sounds like it's mostly octaves which suck hard on pro guitar. <_< Snuff sounds a bit better. Some nice full acoustic chord stuff and pretty cool sounding solos. I might end up grabbing both anyway. XD

Now this may just be me, but I distinctly remember Slipknot Pack 01 being Duality, Psychosocial and Sulfur. 
I have enjoyed (to some degree) every song of theirs in RB so far, so I assume these won't be terribly different. However I have no money for them, so they will wait.

Slipknot is decent for the game in that it's metal of varying "weight" that manages to avoid being all talkie sections. Most of the instruments seem busy and the vocalist has to put forth at least a little effort. Not bad. Looking forward to Pulse of the Maggots.
