WARNING - Do not update your version of rockband 3 custom tracks will fail - WARNING

Here are my Guitar only Pro Upgrades -

New Pro Tracks -

Metallica - Master of Puppets
-You will need the file from the "GH to RB3" project (same as KITN)

Pro Tracks -

Avenged Sevenfold - Critical Acclaim
QOTSA - Little Sister
QOTSA - Sick Sick Sick
QOTSA - Go with the flow
RATM - Bulls on Parade
RATM - Testify
Weezer - Buddy Holly
Weezer - El Scorcho
Lamb of God - Laid to Rest
SOAD - B.Y.O.B
SOAD - Toxicity
KISS - Detroit Rock city
Metallica - Battery - you will need the custom track rip from RB2

Foo Fighters: The Colour and the Shape-

Doll
Monkey Wrench - In Game already
Hey, Johnny Park!
My Poor Brain
Wind Up
Up in Arms
Foo Fighters - My Hero
See You
Enough Space
February Stars
Everlong
Walking After You
New Way Home

RATM - Killing in the Name - pro track bit of work to get this working for you guys.
Firstly find the track (Hint look up the GH to RB project) and then change the songs id to match the song id in the pro file.

they are guitar only (at this stage) and I have not included any difficulties bar expert (is there any other )

Update - I am aware my links are no longer valid due to the FBI beatdown on megaupload, I will be reuploading them at some point soonish. Ziggy has most of these tracks on his page if you need them urgently.

NOTE -

Please support HMX and buy tracks. Lets show them that there is a need for more pro tracks out in RB and we are willing to pay for quality work

I will play this when I have time. It's good to see that other people are getting into pro guitar upgrades, especially since I'm unlikely to be able to make more than a few more myself before the end of summer.

Thanks BJ5 ;)

as I mentioned I am more then happy for people to correct any mistakes Ive made or add in Star power, Bass & other difficulty.

I know it seems like Im doing a half arsed job but really im doing this for myself on songs I like to play (for practice really). Im just sharing my work in the hope others will find the tracks useful.

First goal is to finish off the FFs Album then I will cherry pick songs I enjoy. I will post upcoming work so I dont clash with anyone else's (No point on doubling up).

I would like to do some Avenged Sevenfold as well...

Nice job on the Foo tracks! I'm not an expert player, so I might have to lower the difficulties and give them back to you if I ever get time. As mentioned though, glad more people are getting into it!

Haven't tried the Foo Fighters tracks yet, because I ran out of MSP and was too lazy to add more tonight, but the Laid to Rest track looks good... and that's about all I can say about it, because after playing it once, I found I don't like that song at all.

Keep up the good work though, and I will try the other ones later this week.

This may sound like a stupid question, but which version is it for? Smash Hits or Guitar Hero II?

Ha yea I thought Id seen that name before as well

was fighting it out with you, therealcasey and a few others for number ones and top 10 positions on the leaderboards.

That was till I got my strat. its much more fun to play but no where near as accurate as the mustang for the leaderboard.

Im still around chaps working on getting more tracks up its just finding the time.

(Flexomatic77 on the leaderboards if you havnt already guessed)

Am really struggling to get the KITN upgrade to work; (Just FYI i've got other upgrades working so I know how to set up the flash drive etc.) can i check my method with you?
1) Use LeFluffie to extract the songs.dta of the aforementioned custom song
2) Use a text editor to change the song_id to 1999999, the song ID of your pro upgrade
3) Replace said songs.dta with new edited version
4) Rebuild the custom song in LEFluffie
5) Inject the Pro Upgrade and Custom to Flash Drive in the usual way
Am I Getting something massively wrong here?

Try deleting your RB3 cache. I know sometimes if I dont delete my rb3 cache files sometimes dont work.
