Those are the two simplest songs, instrumentally. OoaLH is simple pop, and ISAGP has basically nothing for half the song. The other three songs should provide much more fun on the instruments. _________________

Listening to Heart of the Sunrise, this (the intro) sounds A LOT like that King Crimson song that I'm blanking on the name right now. It was in one of the GH games. Definitely picking up the whole pack though. _________________

If someone can post screenshots of the song info page (showing all the parts available for each song) that is the only thing currently holding up dlc being posted. Otherwise it might be a few hours. |

Just finished playing some of the songs so I'll post some impressions:
On drums I played:
South Side of the Sky - It's important (imo) to note that none of the songs are actually in the Impossible tier, but the two I played are still pretty solid. This was the easier of the two, and it was still pretty fun. Drums aren't one of the standout instruments on this song, but there's enough to keep you busy for the 8 minutes it lasts.
Heart of the Sunrise - The most challenging part about this one is the pattern the song starts off with, which repeats often through out the song. It was fun, and never got too old, although it was frustrating because my blue cymbal was repeatedly getting pushed down into my green one the more times I hit it. This was the more fun song of the two, but both are worth getting.
On guitar:
Starship Trooper- You can tell this one's gonna be special from the beginning. There are many hammer-ons throughout the beginning of the song, and they go on for quite awhile. The crazy acoustic part in the middle can mess you up if you aren't expecting it, as it is surprisingly chord heavy. I would be afraid to see a Pro chart of this song (yes, I know this song doesn't have one). Only potential down side is the latter half of the song, which is mostly chords (other than the solo). However, it is a great pace to rack up points, and you'll need them, considering you don't reach 5* until you hit 317k points. I got to 462k and I still didn't get gold. This one is definitely worth picking up though.
I've Seen All Good People - Even though this one's only four dots, don't let it fool you. The first half is almost entirely three-note chords, and you get so many points that, assuming you FC it all (which I did), you'll 5* it only halfway in. The second half, though, has quite a few parts that will catch you off guard, including the solo, which is actually pretty nuts for four dots. The rest of it has cool patterns throughout too, and it even prevented me from obtaining gold stars. Definitely worth it for guitarists.
Owner of a Lonely Heart - Pretty much as easy as you'd expect. Only reason I didn't SRFC this was due to a stupid mistake. The only challenging part might be the very end of the solo, but even that shouldn't most much (if any) trouble (I hit it). Only go for this if you're getting the whole pack or you like this song. _________________

21st Century Schizoid Man middle section. Proggers have noted that for years although I'm not sure if Yes ever copped to it (it seems like a pretty apparent influence/borrowing regardless of whether they admit it or not). _________________

Great pack on bass. The fact that Starship Trooper has a bass solo kind of helps there. |

This pack is just as awesome as I thought it'd be. One thing I don't get is how HotS is 5 stars on drums, it's like Roundabout, but at least twice as hard. Those paradiddle-type thingys are insanely hard to hit (and i can get 99% on Roundabout- the middle part gives me no trouble) and are easy fail-points.
Beisdes that though, the pack is very fun. The guitar typically has a lot of randomness thrown in and even though there's no guitar in South Side of the Sky for a good 2 or 3 minutes it's still an incredibly fun guitar chart and I'd say its a must for this week. Owner of a Lonely Heart is obviously the least fun, but even that manages to hold a flame to a lot of DLC. Like some people have said lots of points to be had on some songs and lots of fun. I'd recommend this entire pack for any one who plays any instrument in this game. _________________

I saw the charts. Full-pack buy for me.
However, I might as well buy other songs as I am hilariously out-of-date in terms of DLC. The only RB3-DLC song up until now that I bought is PBTDL and the Soundgarden Pack last week (Although I got it via the Twitter givaway. I consider it an early B-Day present from HMX as the pack officially came out on my 16th Birthday.)
I'll get the Ozzy Pack from a while ago, Stash, The Yes Pack, and a couple of RBN stuff (which I am even more embarrassingly out-of-date with than regular DLC.) _________________

The Glee* is strong in this one.
(*as in an expression of insane and intense joy, not the TV show)
I felt like the Bit in Tron: YESYESYESYESYES
I finished playing all of them on vocal (yay 11th place and Gold on South Side - briefly anyway, when I did it two hours ago) (yay, still 14th) and on guitar. Drums, bass (yay madcatz controller, my tendons are gonna HURT) and keyboard left. Oh, so much fun, so much pain, so much sweetness.
Anyone know what time the DLC gets available? It seems 11am Eastern, judging from previous replies.
NO complaints from me, this is so much win it's intense. Also, it bumps up by 50% my Neverending Epic Song subfolder.... _________________
