King Of Rock is awesome, one of my favorites from GH:A. Will definitely be picking up that and the foos, which are always fun. Stacked Actors is one of my favorites. |

Sad there's no White Limo. The only Foos track I would've bought. But holy crap, RUN-DMC? Nice. The rap should be pretty fun split up between harmonies. Reminds me that we could stand to have some more Beastie Boys. :> _________________

Great choices for a Foo Fighters pack. Stacked Actors is my favorite song of theirs. Also pro updates for Monkey Wrench and The Pretender are great.
Not sure what the big deal with Lordi was. Song doesn't strike my fancy musically nor sound particularly special to play, but whatever. I'll wait for the chart previews and if it looks decent I might still pick it up.
The only disappointing thing about Run DMC is that we only get one track! I was actually thinking about King of Rock being in Rock Band a few days ago, then low and behold, it is! I'm super excited about this. It was great to play in GH:A, and will only be improved by the full-band experience. |

Way to miss out on me enjoying Foo Fighters for the first time with White Limo, so all that is a major pass. I'll definitely grab Lordi though. Surprised to see them lol |

I wish they would give us a nice pack of Beastie Boys stuff. Throw in a few of thier short punk songs and make a nice collection of Beastie songs to have. Dont think most would want it though _________________

Nice surprises this week. We knew the Foo was coming, but the Run-DMC track is an inspired choice that will hopefully pave the way for more old-school rap. I'm a little surprised to see the fantastic Walk take the place of White Limo/Bridge Burning/Dear Rosemary from the new album, but the love affair that Kenneth Branaugh had for the song in Thor (it's used in an important scene near the end of the movie and then again during the credits) should ensure that plenty of people snatch it up. As for the other Foo tracks, we already know that Rope should be a blast on drums and guitar, and given Long Road to Ruin's popularity and atypical (for the FF at least) guitar solo I'm surprised it took this long to make it in the first place. _________________

Heh - that was one of my thoughts, too. "We don't have 'Big Me' yet, do we? We have, like, every other old-school Foo Fighters song at this point. Maybe there's some sort of nefarious Mentos-related clause somewhere holding everything up. I dunno."
That said: always down for more Foo Fighters. And hooray for pro upgrades as well! _________________

King of Rock is a great track, I remember that being one of the best to play in Aerosmith (which was very underrated... lots of fun guitar tracks in that game, and it honestly should have been a full band game). Even though RB gets the full band, it's going to be difficult to top Run DMC himself up on stage with the mocapping and all ;)
I haven't listened to Rope, but I saw the video for White Limo and while I thought the video was amazing, the song itself I can see not appealing to as many people as other tracks from the Foo's. These are smart choices. Stacked Actors is one of the half dozen Foo Fighter songs I actually like, and when I first heard it I remember thinking it sounded nothing like them, haha.
Normally I'd be in the corner of "Foo Fighters already have too much in the game, can't we get something else?" but it has been quite a while since they last got DLC, and the fact that it's paired with 2 new artists with more to come is affirming as well. I figure soon enough if they keep releasing new artists we'll get Oingo Boingo down the line _________________

Disappointed that there's no Bridge Burning or Big Me, but still a lot of great stuff here. |

Hard Rock Hallelujah!? Fuck yes. FINLAND REPRESENT.
Although there's like 2352627327347 bands from Finland that are better than Lordi, it's still better than having nothing (other than the Sonata Arctica song on RBN which is awesome, and a few other isolated ones I don't know). Right on. _________________
