You are a machine! An FC machine! An FC machine that loves The Beatles! 38 FC's in one day is nuts. If I manage more than 5 FC's in a day, it was a pretty good day. You come in and say, "Oh hi....excuse me, but I am going to hit all the pitches...alright bye"
So what's next? BAND HERO? _________________

*head spins*
Too much...hax...in one day...overload!!! *head asplodes*
Getting all of those FC's in one day is just crazy, especially since Beatles vox is pretty hard. Great job as usual Hailey! <3 _________________

So, it's been over 2 years since I updated this thread! Seem like a long enough time right? I come bearing something perhaps a little more interesting than a vocal FC.
A temporary real-life iteration of "Fraggle Rock" will be headlining Metal Mayhem, a Rock Band event in Arlington, Texas this Saturday, May 26th and we need your help!
Band members include:
Hailz
Deschain
BrianBAM19
DragoonKain
DeusExProcella
...and literally anyone else who wants to play!
We'll be playing well into the wee hours of the morning at The Ranch in Arlington and anyone who buys a ticket ($10) and comes to the event is welcome to play with us! Anybody from ScoreHero in the area? Have a buddy you want to bring along? We'd love to see you there!
If you can't come out to the event and would still like to support us, I am encouraging people to donate $5 or more to our band (all proceeds going to Child's Play, a charity that provides games and toys for sick kids). The goal is to raise as much money as possible of course. I hate to be that person that annoyingly asks for money, but it's for charity so don't be hatin'. Think of the children
Donation Link
Want to watch us rock out live? Check out the live stream Saturday night once the show starts, around 8:30-ish PM CST! We will also be taking donations between songs, sort of like a telethon for Rock Band.
LIVE STREAM
If you're interested in playing or helping out, you can find out more information about the event here: http://www.herogear.net/MetalMayhem.html
If you want to read more about Child's Play and where all your cash money is going, check out their website: http://www.childsplaycharity.org/
As always I appreciate ScoreHero's support! I suppose all of this isn't really an accomplishment, but being cool enough to play with these folks seems something worth celebrating, I think
Cheers,
Hailz

I certainly hope not too! Sadly since vocals became loleasy in the eyes of the community I don't have much to work towards, but maybe eventually I'll get better at guitar and bass and post some update about that.
Graf you should totally come to Texas like RIGHT NOW and play with us. _________________

/drops everything, quits job
You are definitely good enough at guitar/bass to work towards some goals. I have faith in you, Hailey
How about this; I will give you a goal to chase: TB:RB Bass FGFC. There are a handful of songs that will require a couple of tries, possibly some practice, but for the most part I know you can get through that game. If you have a good time doing it on bass, go for the guitar FGFC! _________________

For anyone who may have been paying attention to this thread, you'll know this weekend I went to Metal Mayhem in Dallas with Deschain, BrianBAM19, DragoonKain and my husband DeusExProcella to rock out for Child's Play charity. Turns out it was a fun night - not as many bands playing as we would have liked, but that just meant more songs for us!
Some highlights:
Welcome to the Black Parade with Brian and Stephanie singing
Paradise By the Dashboard Light with me and Kev singing
Singing Peace of Mind and surprising everyone by hitting all the high notes since I'm always so quiet <_<
Homecoming with 3 vocalists and me on guitar (I vocaltarred successfully on a song! Who knew? I probably listen to that song every day... haha)
Won't Get Fooled Again with Kev on drums and everybody whipping out sunglasses for the YEAAAH!
Finishing off with Good Riddance with all 5 people singing
Overall there was nothing too accomplishment worthy (score wise) that I did (other than singing in front of humans and not being thrown off the stage ), but Deschain FC'd a few impressive solos on the nice guitars we got to use and really blew the crowd away, and Kev was rocking the drums of course. Considering all the lights, sound and smoke we really did well and 5-starred everything we played just about (gold starred a couple too).
Aside from some miscellaneous swag (t-shirts, sweat bands, track packs and some nice LED lights from RockGear, for all those times I throw parties and need some party lights ), the coolest thing I got to bring home was this:
Pretty cool right? I'll probably find a way to mount it on my wall.
Did I mention it was signed by A7X?
More pics!
So yeah, that was a great success. I don't expect this to be the last update to my thread, but if nothing else I know we will be doing this again this year. If you can make it out, you're welcome to come along! _________________

It sounds like you guys had a great time. Let me know the next time something like this comes up, I would love to come down for some Rock Band shenanigans, and finally get to meet Kev, Brian, Stephanie in person! _________________

When was the last time I actually updated this thread with a real accomplishment?!
So, I'm sure many of you have heard of the event Extra-Life.org does every year with gaming marathons. I know quite a few ScoreHeroes are doing their own marathons and collecting donations for charity.
Anyway, here is my page: http://www.extra-life.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.participant&participantID=39525
I'm playing for the Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas, and doing a RB3 full band marathon starting around 1 PM EST on Saturday and playing for at least 12 hours. I'm hoping to collect a few donations for our endeavors. And maybe a couple of brave souls willing to donate a fixed amount based on the number of gold stars we get. ;)
The lineup thus far looks like this:
Drums: Nikolai3035
Bass: Hailz
Guitar: Ride the Piggy
Vocals: Ride the Piggy's wife
We hope to stream, but time will tell if we really can. I will provide the link when the time comes. The lineup could also be subject to change based on availability and whatever other last minute glitches, so if you're interested in participating stay tuned to this thread come Saturday or form your own band and maybe we can compete on scores for the day!
Anyway, thanks for your support. Anything at all helps!
As for an actual unrelated accomplishment: I did gold star everything in Blitz, so there's that. _________________
