Playoffs will begin Wednesday.
Round 1: Wed March 2 - Tues March 8
Round 2: Wed March 9 - Tues March 15
Round 3: Wed March 16 - Tues March 22
Round 4: Wed March 23 - Tues March 29
Round 1:

It was tough deciding who deserved the byes =).. but the gap between 3rd and 4th was largest hehe

Because it was originally 4 byes and I let just 1 more person in because of the gap in scores between 3rd and 4th. At some point someone is going to be cut, and I apologize, however the brackets are usually almost half of the qualifying candidates. We had 25 submission in round 4... so half would be about 12 or 13.
Don't really HAVE to justify it to you guys, but this is the most fair way I could split it up IMO. I apologize to those on the cut, but there will ALWAYS be a cut of great players just missing it in leagues.

in really simple terms, a bye basically means you dont have to play the 1st round, you get a nice break before coming in to pwn all in the 2nd round |

This was also what I used to determine how many people to let in and thus how many byes (in the league I was running where there was actually a question of how many to let in). In the case of mine, I was choosing between 6 and 7 participants in the playoffs, and there was a significant gap between 6th and 7th, but a very small gap between 7th and 8th, so I went with 6.
