Do you have to go the whole website, XBL token, export license, use the game disc route? Or can you just punch the code on the card into the Redeem Code section of RB3, bypassing the game disc altogether?
Same question for the Green Day: Rock Band export. Seems like this'd be more likely, since its code redemptions were done in-game. Do you specifically need the GD:RB disc? _________________

I'm not sure about GD, but for Lego yes you do need the disc. You have to redeem the code inside the Lego RB store and you can only access the export download from that store. At least, this was the case on the 360. I assume the PS3 works the same, but there always seems to be little differences with how they handle code redemptions. _________________

You can redeem the Green Day code right inside the Rock Band 3 menu but I had already exported Lego Rock Band so I don't know about that one. |
