I also want to mention that while the Pro Guitar/Bass upgrade is available for both the original Bon Jovi songs previously released and the "RB3 versions", I haven't enabled score-tracking for the originals as it's pointless to split the rankings when the charts are the same.

So if you play Pro Guitar/Bass for either version of those songs, please submit your scores under the appropriate "RB3 version". This will be standard procedure for future songs as well.

Can you play the pro guitar charts in the non-rb3 versions in a band? If so, then, you might need to bring pro guitar to the non-"rb3 version"?

Possibly a valid point, although aside from the occasional trill/roll markers the existing charts should be comparable on all instruments. Band tracking still isn't up yet, and I imagine obscure band combinations that involve pro guitar/bass will be much less common than solo play.

So for sake of not splitting the most popular ranks, I would still say in the future to submit all band scores containing pro guitar/bass to the RB3 version.

Still think its kinda meh of them not to have pro guitar/bass support for all new songs when you consider the cost for the controllers, what if some super requested band gets a pack and only 3 songs have pro support, would be pretty much of a letdown :O

There's always the option to upgrade it later. Unlike with keys, pro guitar doesn't require the track to be remastered, just recharted. So even RB2 DLC could theoretically be upgraded.
